PAC is a non-profit organisation, developed to provide essential care for the many ill and suffering stray animals of Koh PhaNgan. Pet ownership is a relatively new concept to the Thai community. We provide advice with regard to optimizing the animals health, and hope to campaign for greater understanding and compassion for animals through the schools. You can now sponsor treatment for a stray animal and receive a picture and update of the treatment that your donation has provided. PAC has developed an education programme, which has been accepted as a permanent part of the teaching curriculum at the island's only High School teaching started in November 2004. Phangan animal care was founded in September 2001 by Shevaun Gallwey with the help of a few long term residents on the island.

Today we are a PADI awarded 5 Star Instructor Development Dive Resort with an international team of enthusiastic and highly qualified PADI Instructors and Dive Masters from England, France, Switzerland and Germany. The unspoilt reefs along Phangan's west coast are relatively shallow but offer all kind of hard and soft corals and a huge variety of marinelife.

The bungalow resort itself is based on top of the mountain on the northern end of Thansadet bay. Sea View Bungalow Resort at Than Sadet Beach is a great value for those looking to relax and soak up the island atmosphere without a need for easy beach access. Seaview Thansadet offers bungalows & accommodation with a fantastic view overlooking the Gulf of Thailand. Arranged in a beautiful cliff side garden, each bungalow has a private deck overlooking the sea; Sea View Bungalow Resort at Thansadet beach truly lives up to its name. Fortunately, free transportation is provided to and from Than Sadet beach daily at 10:00 and 16:00 o'clock but you can also take a steep 15 minutes walk through the jungle to reach Thansadet beach by foot.

The reef is about 100 metres from the beach and once crossed the rich coral and vibrant sea life are an attraction for many divers and snorkellers. The beach on Ao Chaloklum is about two and a half kilometres long, with the main village of Chaloklum right in the centre. The best time to visit Had Mae Had (as with all beaches this side of the island) is between the months of Dec-Mar, as during the rest of the year the sea level becomes lower and simming is not so good. The small island of Koh Pha-Ngan has a surprising amount of attractions and features worth visiting for all types of tourist. The town has grown to accommodate these visitors and Had Rin has a great variety or restaurants, accommodation and nightlife options.

Ko Pangan Thansadet is well known for its river and waterfall which meander down the mountain side through the dense jungle. In the beginning guests were required to make a tricky climb over the hill to access the resort. Haad Leela is also known as Haad Seekantang and is about 15 minutes walk from Haad Rin town center. A wooden bridge now connects Lighthouse Bungalows to Haad Rin Beach whilst still retaining the away from it all feel.
